Fall Community Day Picnic 2022

Enjoy a full day of Luther sports, food, fellowship, and fun with alumni, parents, students, and friends of the college.
On Saturday, September 24, the Decorah community is invited to a BBQ picnic lunch from 11:30 - 1:30 in the Regents Center circle drive. At noon, watch the Norse volleyball team take on Carroll University. At 1 p.m., cheer on the Luther football team as they match up against Buena Vista. Stay later for two great soccer games versus the University of Dubuque!
The cost for the picnic and admission is $8.00 per adult (children 16 and under are free). RSVP is required. The registration deadline is Friday, September 16.
Kids (16 and under) can pick up a FREE Game Pass T-shirt, which will allow free admission to all regular season Norse athletic events in the 2022-23 school year! T-shirts for the kids are courtesy of Decorah Bank and Trust and can be picked-up on Community Day at the picnic site.
Children in grades K-5 may also be interested in the Junior Cheer Clinic hosted by the Luther Cheer Team, from 8 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24. During the clinic, they will learn a short routine and cheers to be performed during halftime of the football game. For more information and to register, go here.
Finally, early risers may want to join an 8 a.m. 5k Fun Run/Walk on the Luther cross country course—one of the best and most scenic college courses in the region. Participation is free, with refreshments and prizes provided and leashed pets welcome! Register to walk or run individually or with your family.
