The college reserves the right at any time to dismiss any student who was not previously on academic probation.
If a student has experienced extenuating circumstances that resulted in academic dismissal, an option to appeal is available. Deadlines to appeal are announced at the end of each semester. To begin the Academic Appeal process you must first contact the Office of Student Life at [email protected] or 563-387-1020 and they will assist you with completion of both the Dismissal Appeal and Readmission Form and Academic Success Plan (ASP).
Any request for future readmission to Luther must be presented as a formal application. Typically only applications for re-entry supported by one or more semesters of full-time enrollment in transferable courses (with grades of C- or higher and a GPA of 2.50 or higher) at another accredited institution will be considered.
