Koren

Koren is home to classrooms and offices for the education, history, political science, sociology, anthropology, Africana studies, and social work departments.

Entrance

Originally the campus library until it moved to Preus Library in 1969, Koren Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • A welcoming study lounge is available for all students.
  • Various classroom designs allow for many learning techniques, including the use of SMART boards.
  • The Anthropology Lab: includes computer workstations, digital cameras, GPS, Total Station equipment, a NextEngine portable 3D scanner, transcription machines, and various collection materials.
  • Anthropology Collections: Preus Library and Koren hold many pieces from Luther’s various collections for instructional and research purposes.

Koren houses classrooms for students studying a major or minor in the social sciences.
