Dear 1956 Classmates,

Doesn’t it seem sensible to begin this letter about the weather?  Next to politics it has been the major topic for some months. Up North we have experienced a love-hate relationship with our weather since the beginning of spring.  There were so very few days of real summer weather that everyone feels like we should do summer all over again and try to get it right.
