Dear Luthermates of 1963:

Gonna sit right down and write myself a letter
And make believe it came from you.

Your notes usually provide the swift kick needed to get my Class Agent letter going.  But since last spring, silence has fallen over the class of ’63.  Let’s call it golden, assume no news is good news, and deduce that you all are reveling so totally in the joys of retirement-cum-grandchildren that you couldn’t possibly spare the time to write.
