For the last couple of years, a former student and I have been leading a community effort to create a historical and cultural museum celebrating the heritage of the small town in which I live—Edgewood, Iowa. As in my working career, I’ve truly made a lot of use of the Luther liberal arts tradition that I was a part of while in college.
