Fall 2011

Dear Classmates,

Change sometimes seems to be the only constant in life.  I was reminded of that fact recently after the Halloween Nor’easter took down two trees in our yard, permanently changing the view from my front window. 

But the constancy of change had been on my mind, before Nature forcefully reminded me.  Having recently retired, I have been thinking about how similar this new state feels to how I felt the day I graduated from Luther.  I find that I am asking myself the same question I asked myself almost forty years ago: “Ok, so now what?”
