Dear Class of 2001,

I am happy to join Laura (Ahlstrand) Bunch and Paul Hoyem as your class agents.  It is an honor to represent our Luther College Class of 2001, and I am grateful for the opportunity!

So far 2010 has been quite the year!  My husband Joel and I were actually in Haiti prior to, during, and after the earthquake that devastated a nation already in need.  We were in Haiti with a 12-member team based out of a church in La Crosse, Wis., and serving as a medical mission team.  Needless to say our initial mission changed with the earthquake.  We were planning four days of clinic in a village prior to the earthquake and ended up doing some clinics and working in a hospital to care for earthquake victims.
