Daryl and Audrey Erdman Prize for Entrepreneurship

With the remainder of the semester moved to online learning, we are postponing the Erdman Prize Competition until Spring 2021. We thank you for your continued support of this program and we look forward to seeing what exciting pitches students bring forth in next year's competition.

Daryl Erdman, author of "Scar Tissue Lessons from the World of Entrepreneurship," is nationally recognized for his leadership and service in the entrepreneurial field. Erdman is founder, chairman, and CEO of Strategic Growth Resources Inc., senior director of AAVIN Venture Capital, a venture capital firm headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and past director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas and the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at the University of Iowa. He also serves as an advisor to many start-up companies, some of which are owned and operated by former students.

The Daryl and Audrey Erdman Prize honors Luther students who create, develop, and manage a successful entrepreneurial enterprise during their student years at Luther. The competition is open to all full-time Luther students regardless of major.

This year, the grand prize will be one $6000 scholarship and two runner-up scholarships granted for $3000 each. See the application below for more information.
