Each child is paired with a Luther student, who they will get to know in a variety of events and activities. A one-to-one pairing is the goal of the Friends Organization, but in some cases, more than one Luther student may be paired with a child.

In order to create the most meaningful relationships possible, it is the group’s intention that each student/child pair remain intact as long as each member participates in the program. By keeping pairings together for multiple years, The Friends Organization creates a deep and meaningful relationship that is shared between the child and Luther student.
