The Carleton P. and Genevieve Baker Scholarship, established by Carleton and Genevieve Baker, shall be awarded to qualified students who can show evidence of financial need with first preference given to students majoring in the humanities.

The John A. Maclay Scholarship, established by Susan (Maclay) '64 and Paul Blackman in memory of John Maclay, shall be awarded to qualified students who can show evidence of need for financial assistance. Preference shall be given to students majoring in art, or if none meet the qualifications, to students majoring in other aspects of the humanities.

The Marvin T. Nystrom Endowed Scholarship, established by Marvin Nystrom, shall be awarded to qualified junior or senior students who show evidence of need for financial assistance, has a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and is a citizen of the United States. Students selected may be in any academic discipline in the sciences or the humanities.

The Fran and Miriam Strum Odden Scholarship, established by Fran '59 and Miriam (Strum) Odden '62, shall be awarded to qualified students in the humanities field who can show evidence of need for financial assistance.

The Herman A. and Florence N. Preus Scholarship, established through the estates of Herman A. '16 and Florence N. Preus in memory of Herman's parents, C.K. '73 and Louise Preus, shall be awarded to students of exceptional academic ability and achievement, with demonstrated need for financial assistance, pursuing a concentration in languages (modern or classic), literature, history, philosophy, religion, ethics, or pure mathematics.

The Jeff and Marilyn Roverud Family Scholarship in the Humanities, established by Jeff '66 and Marilyn (Haugen) Roverud '66 in honor of Weston Noble, Dr. E.D. and Helen Farwell, Dr. Mary Lou Hull Mohr, Dr. Diane Scholl, and Dr. Kenton Finanger for their lives of service and for the positive influence these educators had on their daughters, Kirsten Roverud Heine '92 and Suzanne Roverud Mineck '96. The scholarship shall be awarded to qualified students, majoring in the humanities, who can show evidence of need for financial assistance, and who are involved in extra-curricular activities on campus.
