Payton finished up his Masters in Business Leadership and will be teaching physical education activities courses in addition to his role as a coach. 

When Coach Haynes isn't on the field or recruiting he's usually doing one of his hobbies which include:

• Golfing
• Watching Movies
• Attending Concerts
• Cooking

Favorite Sports Teams: Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Florida State Seminoles (Football), and West Virginia (Basketball)

He has a daughter, Harper (3).
