Luther alum Dr. Eugene Tesdahl, assistant professor of history, will be partnering with the City of Platteville, the Grant County Historical Society, and students will restore this summer at Hillside Cemetary the headstone of Rachel, a former bondwoman brought to Wisconsin by her enslaver John Rountree.
