Background Check

Background checks are conducted on all new staff and faculty at Luther College. If you have been asked to complete a background check as a new employee, please visit the Luther on-line candidate verification center website provided to start the process.

Driver Screening

If you will drive a Luther vehicle, or are a prospective employee who is required to drive by their position, please download and complete the driver application (at the end of the Handbook) which will allow us to check your motor vehicle report.

The Vehicle Use Handbook can be accessed here and is required to be read before a Luther vehicle is driven.

Luther College has a policy on staff recruitment to ensure that consistent guidelines are followed as exempt and non-exempt staff are hired. Consistent guidelines are necessary to ensure compliance issues are followed regarding federal, state, and local regulations.
