A short stay in Kyoto was full of fun

From a Buddhist monastery to the Ritz-Carlton hotel!

A full day of monastic life in the snowy mountains of the Japanese Fukui Prefecture. 

Follow our second day as followers of the Buddhist discipline

As we reached the halfway point in our adventures, we journeyed to a Buddhist temple named Eiheiji where we experienced monastic life for three days. Learn more about the night we arrived from the perspective of one of our group members!

Our travels today included encounters with gold, old samurai housing, and bowling with Japanese university students here in Kanazawa!

It was a day full of travel, but the speedy trains made it so much easier!
