We’ve arrived! After surviving a tight van ride and staying the night in Tofte, MN, the Winter Environment class has braved the cold and crossed the frozen West Bearskin Lake to finally reach Camp Menogyn. We are nice and warm as we settle into our cabin, and can’t wait to spent the next 15 days exploring the winter wonderland around us.

Additionally, true to our rustic experience, we will be without cell service for the majority of our trip. However, we will be taking a day trip into Grand Marais on January 16, allowing us to check in with friends and family. See you then!
