Graduate Programs in Entomology

Luther entomologists at Entomological Society of America meeting 201

Students at Luther College interested in a career in insect biology pursue a well-rounded biology major that provides an extremely strong foundation for future graduate study in entomology. Luther students entering graduate programs in entomology are very competitive. While at Luther, students can be involved in entomological research (either at Luther or elsewhere) obtaining important undergraduate research experiences, and take our entomology course with an emphasis on insect diversity, taxonomy, and ecology, and scientific writing.
