A message from the president

Throughout my years as president, the Luther community has continued to inspire me. This is a vibrant community of learners—students, faculty, and staff actively engaged in an education that opens unlimited possibilities. Many of these learning opportunities wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of Luther’s steadfast donors and volunteers, who are vital and enthusiastic members of the Luther family.

Each spring, the college recognizes the charitable giving of our President’s Council donors. This esteemed
group includes alumni, parents, regents, faculty/staff, friends, and foundations. In 2019, we joyfully welcome a notable list of new Life Members and celebrate their extraordinary commitment to Luther. These donors have contributed cumulative outright gifts of $100,000 or more. As philanthropic role models, these donors and their collective generosity are an inspiration to the next generation of Luther supporters.

Please join me in thanking all members of the President’s Council for supporting the people, programs, and priorities on our campus. Together we ensure that Luther College will continue to be a place where students prepare for a lifetime of impact.
