In the fall of the 2014-2015 season, Luther hosted its first on-campus tournament. The tournament was a success, providing visiting teams with a productive weekend of development and fun. Since then, the Luther Invite has been back each fall for it's annual installment. We are happy to announce that the tournament is back once again in the fall of 2019!

2019 Tournament Information

Our 2018 tournament will be held over two separate weekends, both on campus at Luther: October 12-13 for men's and open teams, and October 26-27 for women's teams. Bid fees for either weekend are $275 for a single team, or $500 for a split squad.

We are happy to announce that high school teams are welcome to attend! We have several slots reserved both weekends for high school squads that wanted to come get some valuable fall experience against some quality opponents. This is also a great opportunity to check out Luther! We understand that high school teams may have a tighter budget, so we can offer bid fees of $250 for high school squads.

We have limited field space at Luther, which has caused us to have to turn away several teams in the past as we simply didn't have enough fields to host everyone when men and women play on the same weekend. By holding the men's and women's divisions over two separate weekends, we doubled the number of fields we had available for each division in an effort to allow as many teams as possible to attend. We also heard from a few teams in 2016 that had a bit of trouble finding a place to stay in Decorah- Spacing things out over two weekends made it easier for teams to find hotel availability in town.

Both weekends, the tournament guarantees at least 7 games per team on painted fields, has certified athletic trainers available all day long, provides food and water for teams, and has portapotties nearby. Additionally, we will be teaming with an ultimate apparel provider to give players the option of purchasing an assortment of gear.
