Students have the opportunity to develop supplemental study plans in consultation with music faculty and their advisors. Study plans are achieved through electives, but are not recorded as such on the transcript. The following areas are available:

• Jazz Studies (Advisor: Tony Guzmán)
• Theory/Composition (Advisor: Brooke Joyce)
• Vocal/Opera Performance (Advisor: Beth Ray)
