56th Annual High School Dorian Summer Camp
June 19-25, 2022

We are thrilled to be returning to in-person Dorian events at Luther College! There is a COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirement in place this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Please check the General Camp Information page for more information. 

Every summer, around 350 student musicians entering grades 10, 11, 12, and recent high school graduates spend a week at Luther College to study, explore, and perform music under the mentorship of Luther's music faculty.

The daily camp schedule includes ensemble rehearsals for band, choir, and orchestra, instrument-specific workshops, a wide variety of classes, and private lessons, offset by evening talent nights, concerts, and a variety of sports. The camp ends with a grand concert in Luther's Center for Faith and Life.

Students live in residence halls on campus and eat their meals at the college cafeteria. A dedicated, caring group of college-age counselors supervise the halls and daily activities.

The total camp fee is $575 which includes tuition, evening activities, room, and board. Optional private lessons are available at an additional cost of $45 for a pair of half hour lessons. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your camp enrollment.

Enrollment for the 2022 summer camps is now open! Enrollment will remain open until Friday, June 10, or until we reach 400 enrollments, whichever comes first. Elective classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis, so early enrollment is encouraged.
