The Luther College Norse Brass quintet is a faculty ensemble featuring trumpet, horn, trombone, and bass trombone. In addition to performing biennially at the Dorian Band Festival, the Norse Brass enjoy regular tours of the Midwest where they visit with high school students and perform exciting repertoire for a wide variety of audiences.
The group enjoys showcasing the rich timbres and textures of a brass ensemble through programming dynamic and exciting repertoire for their performances. Previous repertoire has included Hindemith, Bach, Weber, and McKee.
