The orchestra takes a bow after their performance at the prominent Musikverein.
Orchestra members gather for a photo before rehearsal in the Musikverein, one of Vienna's most significant music halls.
The orchestra has the chance to rehearse in many of the historic highlights in the "City of Music."
Free time in the city allowed student musicians to roam and see all that the beautiful city had to offer.
In January 2019, members of Symphony Orchestra spent J-Term in Vienna, Austria learning, performing and immersing themselves in the "city of music" during a residency led by Dr. Daniel Baldwin, Dr. Philip Borter and Dr. Melanie Batoff.
Along with classroom sessions centered around Viennese culture, students attended a variety of outstanding local performances and were guests at an extravagant ball. Daily rehearsals lead to a final performance of the residency in the famed Musikverein concert hall.
