Paideia

Paideia is a signature Luther College program that will ground you at the start of your academic journey, and prepare you to launch into the world.

The program includes three interdisciplinary courses:

• Paideia 111: first semester of a common two-semester sequence for first-year students
• Paideia 112: second semester of the first-year course with a research project component
• Paideia 450: a series of one-semester courses for juniors and seniors

The program also incorporates performances and events, including an annual lecture series; library acquisitions; student writing services; a faculty development program that includes sabbatical grants and summer workshops; and a faculty journal Agora: The Liberal Arts at Luther College.
