Sustainability House

The Luther College Sustainability House is a two-story home located in a residential neighborhood within walking distance of campus. This house offers a living-learning environment where students work together to explore what it means to live an environmentally, socially and fiscally sustainable lifestyle.

The focus of the house varies slightly from year to year based on the interests of the members. Each year the house chooses a faculty advisor whose role it is to provide guidance and support to the house community. It is common for the house to host book discussions, sustainability-themed movie nights, open houses and potlucks.
