Information Regarding Hiring For 2024-2025 Academic Year

We are so excited that you are interested in applying to be an RA! Please start by reading this information.

1. You must attend one information session to learn about the position before applying. If you cannot attend a session, please email Kassidy Simmons at simmka03@luther.edu.

• Wednesday, February 14, 10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Mott (Main Floor of Union)
• Monday, February 19, 8:00 p.m.
  • Location: Mott-Borlaug

2. Applications for New RA’s are available until February 23rd, at 4 p.m. You just need to click the ”Apply to be an RA” Button at the bottom of this page.

3. Applications for AHD’s and Returning RA’s are available until February 5th, at 4 p.m.  You will need to click the “Apply to be an AHD” or “Apply to be a Returning RA” depending on which position you are wanting to fill.

4. Please request references from two people, preferably one current RA and one Luther faculty/staff member. If you feel strongly that someone else can better attest to your skills and abilities, it is okay to have them fill out the form instead.

5. For New RA’s, if you fill out the application in full, meet our minimum qualifications, and we receive both references by February 26th, we will contact you about interviewing for the RA position. Interviews will take place the first few weeks of March. We hope to conclude our search process before Spring break.
