Careers

The Russian Studies major is intended to provide students with sufficient background in Russian language and culture to permit consideration of graduate work in related fields. It is also intended to prepare students to contribute to decisions and issues that relate to Russian-American interactions in such diverse fields as economics, business, government, the sciences, social work, and education.

Luther graduates with Russian studies minors have begun careers or graduate study in:

  • International Economics
  • Law
  • Law Enforcement
  • Medicine
  • Music Theory and Performance
  • Political Science

Students have also entered volunteer service in Russia and the United States.
