Campus Parking Areas
Center of Faith & Life (CFL) – East
Located east of the CFL and across the street from the Valders Hall of Science, these spaces are reserved for visitors, designated staff and persons with disabilities permit holders.
Center of Faith & Life (CFL) Lot – West
Located between the CFL and Dahl Centennial Union, this lot is reserved for the College President, admissions visitors, campus safety, catering, maintenance, and persons with disabilities permit holders. There is no faculty, staff or student parking in this lot.
City Pool Lot
Located east of Library Lot, the City Pool Lot is owned by the City of Decorah, but by agreement with the City is included in the Luther College parking program. It is reserved for faculty, staff, resident and commuter students.
Farwell Lot
Located on the lower campus southwest of the Farwell Residence Hall, the lot is reserved for faculty, staff, resident and commuter students.
Facilities Services Lot
Located across the street from the Facilities Services office, the north and south sides of the lot are for fleet and/or maintenance vehicles. The center rows are for faculty, staff, and visitors.
High Street
From Leif Erikson Drive to Center Street, parking is reserved for faculty and staff. Students may use this area from 5:00PM until 7:30AM, Monday–Friday.
During the snow removal season, between November 1st and April 1st, there is no parking on High Street from 1:00AM until 6:00AM.
Jenson Lot
Located east and north of the Jenson Noble Music Building, Jenson Lot is reserved for faculty, staff, resident and commuter students.
Koren – West
Spaces west of the Koren building along Leif Erikson Drive are reserved for faculty, staff, and persons with disabilities permit holders.
Larsen Lot
Located south of the Larsen building, this lot is reserved for student parking.
Library Lot
Located off Pool Street to the west, this lot is reserved for faculty, staff, resident and commuter students.
Loyalty Hall Lot
Located behind (south of) Loyalty Hall, Loyalty Lot is reserved for faculty, staff, special permit holders.
Loyalty Hall – North
Spaces in front of Loyalty Hall are reserved for visitors and persons with disabilities permit holders.
Main Building – Southwest
Located southwest of the Main Building, spaces in this area are reserved for faculty and staff.
Main Building – West
Located north of the Farwell Bridge and south of Dahl Centennial Union, spaces in this area are reserved for visitors.
Norby House
Located located at 318 Riverview Drive, spaces in front of Norby House are reserved for persons residing in Norby.
Olson Hall Lot
Located south of the Olson building, the Olson Lot is reserved for resident and commuter student parking.
Regents Center
Street parking west of Regents Center is for faculty, staff and visitors. The main parking lot, located north of Regents Center, is available for faculty, staff, students, commuter students and visitors.
Exception: at the northwest end of the Regents lot there is an area with 14 stalls dedicated for 2 hour parking for students with C and B permits. This area is monitored from 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday.
Roadway Entrance – North
Located between Ylvisaker and Valders Hall of Science, the North Entrance Roadway is reserved for faculty, staff, and student commuters.
Sampson Hoffland Lot
Located east of the Sampson Hoffland Laboratories, the Sampson Hoffland Lot is reserved for faculty and staff and persons with disabilities permit holders.
Sperati Guest House Lot
Located on the south side of High Street, adjacent to and behind the Sperati Guest House, this lot is reserved for faculty, staff, campus visitors, guest house visitors, and and persons with disabilities permit holders.
Valders Lot
Located north of Valders Hall of Science, Valders Lot is reserved for faculty and staff.
Ylvisaker Lot
Located north of the Center for Faith and Life, Ylvisaker Lot is reserved for faculty, staff, and designated staff.
