ANNOUNCEMENTS

Interim president announcement May 21

The college community is invited to a brief gathering at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the CFL Main Hall. Paul Torgerson, Chair of the Board of Regents, and Sandy Lee, Vice-Chair of the Board of Regents, will announce the interim president selection.

Administrative departments are encouraged to close or staff offices at minimum levels to allow as many staff as possible to attend this event.

Thank you from the Torgersons

If you think we have mojo, then this campus has mega-mojo! Judy and I were blown away by last Thursday’s program. Many thanks to Bob Larson for what was his final campus "production" and Godspeed as he leaves for Nottingham; to Karen Martin-Schramm, the quintessential planner and to Linda Skoda who manages the flow. Thanks to the incredible Campus Programming, Catering and Facilities teams: talk about mojo! Finally, a huge debt of gratitude to the Development staff and to each of you who secretly contributed to the endowment funds in our honor. We were speechless.

It has been an absolute joy and privilege to share in such meaningful work together. Each of you is a treasure to Luther College and to us.

-Rick and Judy

Torgerson tribute video available online

For those who were unable to attend the 14 Years of Mojo from the Get-Go ceremony last week at which a video honoring President Rick and Mrs. Judy Torgerson was shown, the video is available online at: http://youtu.be/4KyrshpjdGk.
