COLLEGE OPERATIONS

Parking and traffic notice

On Saturday, Sept. 12 we anticipate heavy traffic and parking congestion in the Regents Center area as Luther hosts the All-American Cross Country Invitational, a football game, tennis match and Community Day. To accommodate the large number of buses transporting teams to the events, we will be imposing parking restrictions for the library and city pool lots. The entire pool lot will be closed to all vehicles except buses beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, until 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

The same restrictions will apply to the commuter parking section on the east side of the library lot as well as the two general parking rows just west of the commuter section. The remaining area of the library lot will be open as usual. Vehicles parked in the restricted areas will be subject to ticketing.

We appreciate your cooperation as we take this opportunity to welcome so many to the Luther campus. Contact Campus Safety and Security with questions, 387-2111.
