'Christmas at Luther' parking restrictions
In order to accommodate the large number of visitors anticipated for "Christmas at Luther," the following parking restrictions are in effect from 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, when normal lot regulations go back into effect:
The general parking areas of the library, Jenson-Noble and city pool lots will be reserved for visitors. Exception: Vehicles displaying a commuter, Baker or college apartment sticker may park in the gravel city pool lot provided they vacate the spaces before 4 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.
The faculty/staff parking area by Valders will be reserved for handicapped parking. Alternative parking includes the roadway from Sampson Hoffland to the main gate, Regents Center and Farwell lots.
Starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, through Sunday, Dec. 3, the lots on the east and west side of the CFL will also be designated for handicapped parking only.
Cooperation with these changes is appreciated. Vehicles found to be in violation of these special event restrictions are subject to fines.
