EDITORIAL COMMENT

And finally...

Looking for ways to keep gnats off your face? Here are some ideas from The Internet:

  • Limit skin exposure. Hats, sunglasses and long sleeves are your friend
  • Avoid wearing fruit-scented body products
  • Dab a bit of oil (olive, coconut, vegetable) on your skin. Focus on your forehead, neck and behind your ears to start
  • Apply a bit of vanilla extract to your face
  • Create a decoy by putting vinegar (1-2 tbsps) and soap (3-5 drops) in a dish and setting on a table, or the ground, nearby
  • Sprinkle herbs or spices (1-3 tbsps of cayenne pepper, garlic, pepper, salt, or cinnamon) on the ground around the outdoor area where you're spending time (i.e. patio, porch, picnic shelter). This tip is new to the <tuesday>, so do share if you try this and it works

Good luck!
