Paideia all-college summer reading books available now

The all-college summer reading for 2020 is "The Best We Could Do" by Thi Bui. 120 copies are available to faculty and staff without cost, sponsored by Paideia and the Dean's Office. Pick up your copy in the Luther Book Shop! Born in Vietnam, Bui came to the United States in 1978 as part of the "boat people" wave of refugees fleeing Southeast Asia at the end of the Vietnam War. Her graphic memoir tells the story of her family's journey, her quest to understand her parents in the context of the complex history of the country "that was once home,"  and her probing of her own identity as she becomes a parent herself.

Tutoring

Faculty and staff, please remind students to sign up for CAE peer tutoring in the online system at http://luther.mywconline.com. Please let Adam Lenehan, coordinator of tutor and academic services, know if you have any questions at <adam.lenehan>. Thank you!
