Dear Friends,

I love getting Christmas cards from Luther friends, even though I am sporadic at best in sending them. This year, one Luther friend shared a birthday greeting from her brother-in-law, “Welcome to your fourth quarter. I hope you make it to overtime!” Certainly brings home the realization that we now have more days in our past than in our future. Hmm-mildly depressing!
