Spring 2014 – New Beginnings

Dear 1970 Classmates,

Well, I sure hope the weather can read and understand that SPRING is supposed to be coming soon! As I compose this letter, we are scheduled to set a new record-low temperature and break the record that was set over 100 years ago. We have had fully 30 days with below-zero temperatures, and much of the four feet of snow that has fallen, starting in November, remains on the ground. And many of you have endured even worse during this most difficult and bitter winter. So much for global warming, at least this year!
