Spring 2019 

Dear Classmates, 

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Southwest Florida alumni event—a rich opportunity to once again reconnect and meet new friends. Prime example: I had met Bill Wickum ‘71 a couple years ago at a similar event. We realized how close he and his wife live to Steve and me and how we all really enjoy boating to fun restaurants on the water. So, we are in the process of finding a rendezvous date. I also had a chance to bid President Carlson farewell as she gets ready to embark on a new retirement adventure at the close of this school year. Two realizations were ascertained from that gathering—the realization of how many other Luther snowbirds are actually in this area😉 and knowledge about the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan.
