So many places to go and people to see throughout the year in Decorah that if you tried to do them all, you’d never have time to cook or clean. (Wouldn’t that be heartbreaking?) To mention a few events coming up, March 9-12 is the Oneota Film Festival, Stories That Matter, hosted by Luther College. Over 50 new and award-winning documentary and independent films will be presented that weekend. March 31-April 2 is the annual Women’s Weekend Out, which is always a fun time with shopping, culinary delights, a fashion show, a chili competition, and cooking classes, as well as some evening entertainment. Of course, there is always Nordic Fest, July 27-29, a favorite for Luther alumni.
