Dear Class of 1980,
Thirty-five years! We walked down the hill, across the stage, and out into the world. Now we have an opportunity to gather together, reminisce, and see all the ways that we have changed – and not changed – since those days at Luther College.
Come to Luther to celebrate our 35th reunion during Luther's Homecoming, October 16-18, 2015. Planning continues for our reunion celebration, which will be held on Saturday, October 17, at the Steyer Opera House, located on the third floor of the Hotel Winneshiek. A reception will start at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. To register, please complete the reservation form or register online at www.luther.edu/homecoming/. Our classmate, Mary (Christianson) Hansen, will be the recipient of a Distinguished Service Award presented at the Alumni Dinner on Friday evening. Other events will include an alumni golf event, a theater and dance production, concerts, alumni sporting events, and, of course, the Homecoming parade and football game. You can find the schedule of events at www.luther.edu/homecoming. In the midst of all these activities, there will be lots of opportunities to reconnect with friends and classmates.
Luther College Class of 1980 has a Facebook page! Take a few minutes to like the page and post photos and memories of your time at Luther. Additional information regarding our reunion will be posted as we get closer to October.

In honor of our 35th reunion, please consider joining with our classmates in making a class gift to Luther. Your contribution will provide opportunities for increased student scholarships, enhanced campus life, updated technology, and strengthened academic and co-curricular programs. This support adds value to the Luther experience for each student. Tuition and fees cover only a portion of expenses and the remainder is raised through gifts and endowment earnings. Your support is key to helping the students of today and tomorrow.
