Summer 2018

Dear Classmates,

In just a few short months, we will celebrate our 35-year anniversary!!  It has been 35 years since we walked across the stage to receive our diplomas from Luther College with all our friends and family cheering us on. I personally invite you to attend this weekend planned with fun times to socialize with old (well, not too old) classmates. Mark your calendar now – October 26-28, 2018, during Luther’s Homecoming!! The reunion committee has been working hard to make this fun and special for everyone.

Our reunion events kick off on Friday at 8:00 pm at the Toppling Goliath Brewery.  For those of us who love the outdoors and miss Decorah’s surroundings, there is a “class bike ride” planned for Saturday morning at 8:00.  The bike ride will take us on the 11-mile Trout Run Trail – a beautiful place to bike this time of the year. We will top off the day with our 35th Reunion Dinner at the Steyer Opera House, Hotel Winneshiek.

If you haven’t been back to Luther College in a few years, I invite you to make this weekend a part of your fall activities. The campus looks fabulous as always, and you will notice the improvements the college and community have made to make Luther College and Decorah a wonderful place. Come check out the new blue turf and much more!
