Dear Classmate,

My husband and I recently experienced a fun-filled weekend of Homecoming festivities at Luther. It was enjoyable taking in all the beauty of nature Decorah has to offer, reuniting with friends, and watching our daughter cheer at the football game, which resulted in an overtime victory for the Norse! Throughout the weekend, I kept thinking of how Luther has really fostered in me a sense of connectedness to the college and fellow alumni. While conversing with a 1984 class agent – Luther parent like me – we started sharing fond memories of our time at Luther. He was explaining to me how his coworkers just don’t understand his strong feelings for his alma mater, because they don’t have that same sense of connectedness to theirs. I agreed that, as Luther alumni, we all have a special bond!
