Fall 2015

Scattered. I’ve been feeling scattered lately. I put my keys down, and though I am the only one who would have the opportunity to move them, they somehow go missing. My thoughts are scattered. I start a project and before it is finished I’ve realized I wanted to do something else, and I move on to work on that before I finish what I just started. I am told all of this is normal. My friends are scattered too. I took a road trip this fall and as I drove through many little Iowa towns, I thought about how I used to know the hometowns of so many of you. I knew the towns of people in choir because Weston Noble used to call us by our hometown. I was usually just Colorado, but that was fine by me.
