Mina L. (Larson) Healy, 67, of Northwood Apartments, East Montpelier, Vt., died Nov. 28, 2015, at The University of Vermont Medical Center.

Mina was born July 8, 1948, in Minneapolis, to Loren and Evelyn (Carlson) Larson. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1965 and Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969.

Mina married Shawn M. Healy on Sept. 8, 1979, in Wayzata, Minn.

Mina was employed by the Vermont Department of Labor as a labor market analyst for 36 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling for work, visiting museums, spending time at the family cabin and the beaches of Maine. Mina enjoyed singing with the Barre Tones.

She is survived by her husband, Shawn, of East Montpelier; her daughter, Sara Chase, and her husband, Adam, and her cherished grandson, Liam, all of Montpelier; her father, Loren, and his wife, LouAnne, of Ely, Minn.; sisters Nancy Marcy, of Hopkington, Minn., Amy Schmidt and her husband, Gary, of Lakeville, Minn., Meredith Boo and her husband, Mike, of Plymouth, Minn.; brother Paul Larson and his wife, Carmelita, of Tigard, Ore.; several nieces and nephews. Her brother Thomas K. Larson predeceased her.

A funeral service was held Dec. 5, at Guare and Sons/Barber and Lanier Funeral Home, Montpelier.
