Roger Paul Sportsman, age 64, passed away February 17, 2016. Father of Elena (Sportsman) Watson '00 (Scott), Erin Sportsman, and Robert (Kathy) Sportsman; grandpa of Olivia, Zachary, and Madeline Watson, Hunter and Kennedy Miller, and Kayleigh and Robert Sportsman; step-son to Lois Sportsman; brother of Wayne (Chris) Sportsman, Kevin (Linda) Sportsman, and Keith (Diana) Sportsman; step-brother to Deb O'Reilly and Barb Knippschild; special friend to Matt Swanson; preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Doris Sportsman, his brother Garry Sportsman, his step-brother Richard Duchossois, and his special friend Timothy Goddard. There will be a private interment at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin, Ill., at a later date.
