Barbara Ruth (Sorensen) Lebetsamer passed away in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, on the morning of November 12, 2015, at the age of 67. She was born on June 15, 1949, in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Luther College in Iowa. She then moved to Los Angeles and married her husband Ron in 1976. After a brief stay in Torrance, California, they settled in Rancho Palos Verdes. Barb spent 25 years as an elementary school teacher, with a particular focus on music and English. She enjoyed cooking and baking, playing the piano, and any activity that involved spending time with her family. Barb is survived by her sons, Timothy and Daniel; daughter, Amy; grandsons, David Timothy and Joshua Norris; brothers, Paul and Mark Sorensen; and sister, Kathryn (Sorensen) Dahlberg ‘73.
