Peder Jan Angvall of Plano, Texas, passed away February 12, 2016 from multiple myeloma. He graduated from Minnehaha Academy in 1960 and Luther College in 1964. In 1967 he married JoAnn Scott, and they had two children, Carron and Peder.

He loved to travel and visited all 50 states and 20+ foreign countries. He lived in Minnesota, Denmark, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Minnesota, the Netherlands, and Michigan before finally settling in Plano, Texas, for the last 26 years of his life. He loved to garden, where he would spend hours every day weeding, watering, planting, and clipping to make sure his yard was always perfect. He also loved to teach his grandchildren new things and play games (Uno, Mille Bornes, and Dominos were favorites).

He is survived by his wife JoAnn, his brothers Rowland Angvall ’67 (Paulette) and Eric (Judy), his sister Kris (Don), his children Carron (Alex) and Peder (Susan), his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Caroline and Daniel, his nieces and nephews Anna, Nicholas, Elsa, Jessica, Joshua, Laura and Emily, and his dogs Tucker II, Annabelle and Molly.  He is preceded in death by his parents Rowland and Charlotte, his nephew Eric Peder, and his dog Tucker I.

Papa will be missed.
