Paul Henry Knutson, age 80, of Edina, Minn., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 16, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Arthur and Ella Knutson of Glencoe, Minn., brother, Howard Knutson ‘51, brothers in law Wallace Moilien and Warren Rutherford. Survived by wife, Tekla, daughters, Linda Knutson, Stillwater, Brenda (Tom) Dolan, Eden Prairie, and grandchildren, Matthew, Molly and Peter Dolan. Also survived by brother Roald Knutson ‘52 (Carole), sisters in law Barbara Gruendemann Rutherford, Jerry Knutson and Marilyn (Bill) Engel and many very special nieces and nephews.

Paul was a graduate of Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minn. He earned an M.A. from St. John's University, Collegeville, Minn., in 1983. He served as a Parish Pastor, Chaplain at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, Minn., Campus Pastor at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minn., and Visitation Pastor at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. He also served as Interim Pastor at numerous churches in Minnesota.

Memorials are preferred to Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, Cathedral of the Pines Camp, Luther Seminary or a charity of your choice.
