David R. Tuff, age 95, of Robbinsdale, Minn., died Oct. 25, 2018. David was born in Barton, N.D., eighth of 12 children of William and Eileen Tuff. He was a Marine fighter pilot in WWII, homesteaded in Wyo., served as an ELCA missionary in Papua, New Guinea, and as a hospital chaplain. David was preceded in death by his wife, Florence in 2014; and daughter, Susan Durrant (Paul) in 2008. He is survived by children, David (Bob), Dianne (Murdoch Johnson), Maggie (Dave Carlon), and Nathan Tuff ’83 (Kim Nielsen); six grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Memorial service was Nov. 10 at Valley of Peace Lutheran Church, 4735 Bassett Creek Drive, Golden Valley, MN.
