Janet Marie (Schmidt) Rosett, age 84, passed away at her home in Coon Rapids on Oct. 24, 2019, from heart failure. She was born on May 19, 1935, to Orville Schmidt and Flora (Elder) Schmidt in Forest Lake, Minn. She is preceded in death by her parents Orville and Flora, her husband Donald Rosett, married for 63 years, son Peter, and grand-daughter Nicole (Carolan) Owings. Survived by son Greg (Kim) Rosett, daughter Teri (Dan) Rex, daughter June (Carolan) Rosett-Laures ‘83 (Rick Laures), son Mike Rosett, daughter Susan (Dave) Rosett, son Rich (Jenny) Rosett, sister Joanne Weber, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was an office manager at the Season's Restaurant and Chi Chi's. She also worked in the office at St. Timothy's Catholic Church. She served as a DFL delegate, voting judge, served the Arch Diocese Council and St. Timothy's Council of Women. She coached softball and loved the Golden Gophers and the Twins. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her dogs, antiques, gardening, birds, watching her cowboy movies and reading.

A Celebration of Life was in May 2020. Memorials can be sent to Teri Rex using the Rosett home address, Animal Human Society, Northern Plains Reservation Aid or Boys Town. Mom is now in heaven dancing with Dad.
