Carolyn M. (Elias) Brown, a resident of Westland, Mich., passed from this life on Sept. 17, 2020, at the age of 80.

Carolyn was the beloved wife of the late James Wesley Brown ‘63, and the loving mother of Lisa (Richard) Graham and Leslie (Robert) Rates. She was the cherished grandmother of Richard III, James, Emily and Matthew.

She rested at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, 8809 Wayne Rd. on Sept. 20, 202,0 with a Rosary that evening.

Carolyn’s Funeral Mass was on Sept. 21, 2020, at St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church, 32765 Lyndon (E. of Farmington Rd).

Her final resting place is Oakland Hills Cemetery.
