Stephen Charles Rankin of Tulsa, Okla., died June 9, 2021, age 73.

Steve met the love of his life, Lila, at the young age of 11. After many years of being good friends, he finally convinced her to say "yes" after three proposals (he was ever the salesman...)! They were married a decade after meeting, when they were 18 and 21 years old. In his younger years, Steve enjoyed playing tennis and racquetball, flying Cessna planes, and he always loved a good game of chess. But his greatest passions in life were worshipping God through leading praise and worship, and spending time with his family. Steve was a father of four, a father-in-law, a Grandpa, and even a Great-Grandpa! His greatest desire was that his children and grandchildren would know and serve the Lord. What a legacy Steve left behind!
